New York’s Largest Beauty Tradeshows: IBS NY & IECSC
It’s the time of the year again, right before Spring, when new trends in beauty and fashion debut. As the Mercedes-Benz fashion week wraps up, the International Beauty Show (IBS) and International Esthetics & Spa Conference (IECSC) is preparing to open its doors at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York City, and I am more than eager to attend both shows this year!!
This year, International Esthetics, Cosmetics and Spa Conference (IECSC) is celebrating its 8th year as the premier Northeast spa show. This is my 4th year attending the event , and I am more than excited. Thousands of medical and spa professionals from across the country attend IECSC to stay abreast of the latest trends, techniques and business practices in the ever-changing and fast-paced beauty industry.
IBS New York is the largest and longest running professional beauty event in the United States. The show provides attendees the latest trends, innovation, products and tools in the beauty industry, with over 600 exhibitors worldwide. IBS provides beauty professionals the opportunity to to learn new techniques, tips, and tricks through exciting in-booth education and demonstrations, as well as hands-on workshops. It also offers classes where well renowned industry experts will teach makeup, nail art, hair styling and color. This year, among the talented and well renowned makeup and hair artists include Shear Genius winner Dee Adames.
Both shows are co-located at the Jacob Javits Convention Center, and the trade-show floors are open to beauty professionals with valid credentials. The tradeshows are from March 7- March 9, 2010, and floors are open 10AM- 5PM.
