Fashion Week Flashback: Herve Leger by Max Azria

The Fall 2012 season’s theme explored the darker side of equestrienne motifs of the Herve Leger collection, which was inspired by the theme of “seduction and restraint.”  The overall look included was “bandage & bondage” with leather harnesses fastened around shoulders and waists. The models look is reminiscent of wild horses, as they donned long, straight, blunt-cut ponytails that oscillated like a pendulum. Nearly every look had some nod to equestrian-inspired harnesses, with wide belts married to knee-high leather gladiator boots.
