NY Fashion Week Wrap-up

Streamlined separates, Fashionable furs & Colorful palettes are all the rage at NYFW.

The final days of NY Fashion Week Fall 2011 were filled with bright, jewel toned colors, furs, and  structured fit.   Sculpted clothes with clean lines dominated Gwen Stefani’s L.A.M.B. collection,  while Milly‘s colorful palette made me want to replace the classic Little Black Dress with a turquoise one. Gorgeous and operatic,  Naeem Khan‘s collection was nothing short of ethereal bliss,  and Christian Cato‘s collection showcases his animal instincts with sexy furs. Always screaming funky and fun, Anna Sui never fails to deliver the uniqueness she is known for. Overall, the apparent theme of the shows exuded Techie vs. Traditional,  as classic styles of the 40’s and 60’s were revamped with a clean fit,  bold colors, and jacquard and computerized prints.
