February Fashion Week has come and gone, summer is coming to a close faster than I thought it would, school has resumed,  and a new Fall season is peeking around the corner.  The good thing about September, however, is previewing the upcoming Spring collections at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in NYC.  And since this is my first time covering Fashion Week for the whole week, I decided to do it journal-style to best capture each fashionable day.

I started Fashion Week off with a bang,  and for Day One I attended the Spring /Summer 2012 MBFW  shows for: BCBG, Candela, Porter Grey, and Tadashi Shoji.  I then made my way to the Robert Verdi Luxe Laboratory for some much needed R&R after my ambitious morning!  Stay tuned for coverage, pictures, and videos of shows for the rest of Fashion Week!

This most exemplifies Tadashi Shoji's S/S 2012 collection as an homage to the beauty and splendor of the tulip: rich in color, yet delicate in its form.

Great shots of the fashions, and the week in NYC was spectacular with all of the old line designers, and the new up and coming designers. The talent is top notch! Chamfel.com
